The “Covenant of Intimacy” Conference is offered over four Weekends and emphasizes four critical aspects of marriage.  Scheduling is at the discretion of the host Church or group....

Weekend 1.“The Making of Us”
- Through testing and private break-out sessions, each couple is guided in their search for what makes them an "Us."
- Careful study and adoption of the “Tasks of Marriage” enhance “Intimacy” and endear both partners to the idiosyncrasies, pleasantries, and challenges of their Marriage.
- “Spirituality in Marriage”
i.Lecture and interactive consideration of “Spiritual Styles”
ii.Building a shared “Intimate Life With God”
- A Romantic Evening – Banquet and Entertainment designed to stir the embers of love
- Biblical principles are formally taught in the Sunday AM Meeting with a host Church.
- A special Service of “Prayer for the Blessing of Marriages” is the final event of the Weekend.

Weekend 2.“The Covenant of Intimacy”
- Re-defining the Vow
- Re-consideration of promises in silence and solitude
- A collective and “couples breakout” reconsideration and personal re-definition of the meaning of "Fidelity."
- A Romantic Evening – “Restoring the Passion”
- “Jesus Design for Your Marriage” –  A sermon for the Sunday morning meeting with a host Church.
- A special Sunday evening “Service of Prayer for the Blessing of Marriages.”

Weekend 3.“Communication – The Pathway to Intimacy”
- An intensive examination of communication principles and tools available to aid
“Communication: The Pathway to Intimacy.”
i.Friday/Saturday instruction and interactive experiments with 13 essential    ingredients of "intimate conversation."
- “Saturday Night Out”
- Sunday AM – “One Teacher’s Description of a ‘One Flesh Bond.’”
- A special Sunday “Service of Prayer for the Blessing of Marriages."

Weekend 4. Male and Female – Aliens in the Same Bedroom
- A new and creative look at the “Gender Divide”
- Learning the language of the other
- Picking your battles and fighting fair
- Learning to see the value of conflict
- A “couples break-out” afternoon to renew the “Covenant"
- A Special Service for the “Renewal of Vows” and “Prayer for the Blessing of Marriages.”

What could that be?
The dictionaries say that a “covenant” is a “usually formal, solemn, and binding agreement.”  An intimate thing they define as, that “belonging to or characterizing a person’s deepest nature.”
Put the two together.  You have “a formal, solemn, binding agreement to enter into, even share in, a person’s deepest nature.” 
We believe that is exactly what God had in mind when he said, “and those two will become one flesh.”  It is “Jesus’ Design for Your Marriage.”
We are convinced that marriage is an irrevocable agreement to enter, by every means possible, into each other’s “deepest nature.”  God wants us to share every nuance of our personality; hopes and dreams; fantasies and desires; emotions and moods.  Marriage, as he has designed it, is a life long journey of commitment to know each other.   
We are excited to offer this Weekend because it provides us an invaluable opportunity to explore with you the pathway to this intimacy and the heart of the Lord who will make it, increasingly, your experience if you let him …
